It rained a lot in the southern part of the night, but the water level of the Han River was lowered because it did not rain in the metropolitan area including Seoul. I will connect the reporter who is out at Jamsu Bridge in Seoul.

Reporter Jo Yoon-ha, I think the water level of Jamsu Bridge has dropped a lot right now. What is the current situation?

<Reporter>

Yes, fortunately, it didn't rain overnight.

The road sign that was completely submerged yesterday (the 7th) has now reappeared as you can see behind me.

The water level of Jamsu Bridge, which once exceeded 11.5m, has now gone down to 7.3m.

However, it is still higher than the vehicle traffic limit of 6.2m, so it is still impossible to pass.

Vehicles in the upper and lower streams of Yeoui, which were once controlled due to heavy rain, are now in a state of reopening.

The places where traffic is still restricted are near Gaehwayukgakmun, the path from Olympic-daero to Gaehwa-dong and Banghwa-dong, Gangseo-gu, and Jamsu Bridge here.

As the rain in the metropolitan area has turned into a lull, the amount of discharge to Paldang Dam has also decreased. Currently, Paldang Dam is discharging a little over 8,000 tons of water per second.

The rescue authorities started the search at the site of the accident at Uiamho Lake in Gangwon, where five people were missing, a little before 6 o'clock.
