A businessman from the sports field, the former chairman of the Green Dream Cooperative, Hur In-ho, was arrested on charges of entrusting the National Assembly and some government agencies to provide a wiretapping detection device.

The Seoul Northern District Court issued a warrant for the arrest of Mr. Heo, fearing he could escape.

He is known to be accused of meeting with a member of the National Assembly in the course of acting as a proxy for the supply of wiretapping detection devices worth hundreds of millions of won to the National Assembly in 2015.

He was born in the '386 Movement', where he served as the president of the Korea University Students' Association in the 1980s.
