As the Soyang River Dam opened the water gate in three years, I said that the level of the Han River will be higher in the future. In addition, it may rain more at night on the 5th today, so please check the traffic information on the road around the Han River before going to work tomorrow. Let's connect reporters who are out on the Han River Diving Bridge.

Reporter Cho Yoon-ha, the rain has fallen and stopped again, but how is it now?

<Reporter>

Yes, it's been raining all day on this diving bridge and it's been stopped for a while.

As you can see behind me, the diving bridge is full of muddy water and only a few signs are visible.

The level of the diving bridge is currently around 7.9m, and control continues for the fourth day.

Traffic including the Diving Bridge, the Yangpyeong Naedok at the southern end of the Seongsan Bridge, the underground driveway at the southern end of the Dangsan Railway Bridge, and the Olympic Expressway are at a controlled level.

In addition, the entrance to and around the downtown rivers of Seoul, such as the parking lot of Han River Park, Yangjaecheon and Cheonggyecheon, is still controlled.

The Paldang Dam, the gateway to the river, heads to Seoul, currently opening 10 gates and discharging more than 10,000 tons of water per second.

Due to the rain, not only road control, but also the subway operation was disrupted today.

<Reporter>

Yes, it is.

At around 6:10 am today, the two-way train service between Metropolitan Subway Line 1 Gwangwoon University Station and Cheongnyangni Subway Station was suspended for 6 hours.

There is an overpass that passes over the railroad tracks at Sinimun Station on Line 1, but some of the drainage pipes installed here have not been able to overcome the rain and fell in the middle of the track, and there is a possibility of further falling, so some sections were stopped.

Immediately after the accident, KORAIL put emergency recovery teams at the site for repair work, and operation resumed from 12:00 noon today.
