Currently, areas where rain is concentrated are Chungcheong, Honam, and Gyeongbuk.

In particular, there are heavy rain warnings in some Chungcheong and Honam regions, including Gwangju and Daejeon, and heavy rain warnings in other Chungcheong inland areas, Honam, and western parts of Gyeongbuk.

In Seoul, Gyeonggi and Yeongseo regions, heavy rains were lifted as the rain weakened or stopped.

From yesterday to now, there has been a heavy rain of over 180mm in Imsil, Jeollabuk-do, and 149.5mm of Gwangju, 113.5 of Gwangju, 98.1 of Jecheon, and Seoul recorded 43.2mm of precipitation.

The strong rains in the central and Honam regions are due to the rainy season coming northward to the central region and a large amount of water vapor coming from the south along the rainy season.

The Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted that by the afternoon of the afternoon, strong rains would continue as thunder, lightning, and gusts hit the central region.

Until tomorrow, the expected precipitation may be over 50~100mm in southern Gyeonggi and Chungcheong, and up to 150mm in Chungcheong-do.

Rain is expected to range from 30 to 80 mm in Seoul, northern Gyeonggi, Gangwon, Honam and Yeongnam provinces.

The Meteorological Administration predicts that the rainy season in the southern region will end tomorrow summer, but the rainy season in the central region will continue until early next week.
