Yesterday (28th), I was told that the police who were in charge of protecting the North Korean refugees were being investigated for sexually assaulting a North Korean refugee woman. It was a police officer who had a drunk driving accident earlier, but less than a month later, he was arrested for sexual crimes.

Reporter Han So-hee was covered alone.

At the end of May, police officer A of the Seoul Metropolitan Government was involved in the police after drinking and driving and hitting the outdoor units of buildings.

Subsequently, Inspector A was released.

But in June, less than a month after being disciplined, police were investigated for alleged sexual assault and illegal shooting of women who drank alcohol together in Mapo-gu, Seoul.

In the police investigation, Inspector A was charged with illegally shooting the woman as well as other women.

Inspector A is acknowledged to have illegally shot in police investigations, but has been denied charges of sexual assault.

The Seoul Western District Law issued an arrest warrant on June 11 for police officer A, who was filed for a warrant of quasi-rape and illegal shooting.

The prosecution is reportedly undergoing reinforcement investigations after the case was dispatched by the police.

Recently, a police officer was sentenced to eight months in prison for allegedly inducing so-called "acquaintance rape" by disclosing the phone numbers of fellow policewoman in a random chat room, and another officer was arrested for a North Korean refugee who had to protect herself. I was faced with a prosecution investigation for charges of sexual assault for one year and seven months.

The voice of criticizing Ki-Hai is getting louder as a series of police crime cases that broke out before and after the replacement of the chief of police.
