He explained that "if astronauts on the ISS now completely close all tasks, then on the Moon the use of robots is maximally justified."

According to him, "an astronaut will be able to work on the moon for a week or two," and robots "will serve the space infrastructure between shifts of manned expeditions."

He noted that robotic devices of all shapes will be used on the Moon.

Dudorov said that "these should be anthropomorphic robots, and complexes on a wheel base, robots with manipulators."

“The process of their work should be automated as much as possible,” he added.

Earlier, Roskosmos reported that tests of the Russian spacecraft Luna-25 are scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2021.
