At 3.15 am, firefighters intervened in the parking lot of a night bar near the A9 motorway, at the Nîmes-Est interchange for a shooting. A 42-year-old man died on the spot and two others were transported in absolute urgency to the Nîmes CHU. The authors of the shootings fled.

Early in the morning, a third person, seriously injured in the head, was found nearby in a ravine before also being taken to hospital. The investigation is carried out by the judicial police.
