This is because the low pressure, which usually needs to escape in about a day, has rarely left the Korean Peninsula this time. Jangbibi is expected to continue until next week.

Reporter Jung Gu-hee will tell you the reason for the heavy rain and the weather.

This is a satellite image taken yesterday (23rd) and today, over the Korean Peninsula.

A huge tornado resembling a typhoon covers the Korean Peninsula.

It is the low pressure of the heavy rain, but it continues to stay on the Korean Peninsula as if it had nested.

The North Pacific high pressure and other high pressure in the northeast that prevented the low pressure from escaping into the East Sea caused heavy rain for two days.

In particular, as the low pressure is driving in a counter-clockwise direction, it will rain heavily in Busan yesterday and the east coast from today to the weekend.

Low pressure sucks sea water like a vacuum cleaner and raises the sea level, which is called the astronomical phenomenon.

Yesterday in Busan, the tide was the strongest in the high tide, and the sea level rose to the high tide and astronomical tide.

[Heryong, Head of Ocean Observation, National Maritime Research Institute: Yesterday, the high tide time in Busan is around 10:32 pm. At that time, the water level is about 170cm. It was the highest tide even this year.] It

is analyzed that the damage to the coastal city center was high as the sea level increased.

At present, the low pressure escapes to the East Sea, but there will be a lot of rain even on the weekends on the East Coast, which is still in the affected area.

Except for the East Coast, there is not much rain on weekends, but the rainy season will continue to rain on the Korean Peninsula next week.
