Through the case of Choi Choi Sook-hyun, the violence in the sports world rose again on the cutting board. The Ministry of Education decided to investigate the situation of all elementary, middle and high school students in the country.

How violence has been handed down, and how to stop it, reporter Han Ji-yeon and Ahn Sang-woo report.

<Reporter Han Ji-yeon>

A diary of Miss A, who used to be a player from elementary school to middle school, has been whipping herself in the dream of the world stage, but it wasn't just fighting herself.

I had to endure the coach's cursing and assault every day.

[A player: Until I fall to the corner until I reach the end of the wall. I hit my head until the rod itself broke, and I hit my head like a mole. With a chair.] When I

suffered from panic disorder, I came up with an extreme choice.

[Player A: I pour out all my medicine... While I was in the hospital, I quit exercising.]

Among the athletes, about 20,000 people experienced verbal and physical violence, and one in three trained while being beaten and beaten.

[Player B: Punishing me like this because I have to be afraid of my opponent (Coach) when I go out of the competition.] The

problem is that many of the students who have been assaulted blame them.

[A player: Brainwashed. I have to do hard because I was wrong. We will be pleased by our coach after the medal.]

Eight out of the ten assaulted student athletes fail to report properly, but they eventually take violence as part of their growth process, imitating it and passing it on.

[Yong-cheol Jung/Professor of Sogang University Sports Psychology: A kind of sympathy psychology called'(Cochiga) is struggling for the performance'. I have

trained young students that way.] <Reporter Ahn Sang-woo>

Among the assaulted student athletes, less than 5% of those who asked for help around them did not hit them.

In many cases, the identity of the reporter is known to the leader and the

[current leader: (sports group) seems to wish that it was an episode rather than an actual violence. Because of that, there are cases where you will be notified when a report is received

, because you may face additional disadvantages afterwards .]

[Incumbent leader: (Reporter) Whether it's scratching or passing distorted information to make it difficult for you to go on to school, I know it's not really there

.

The disposition against a high school coach who made a blast and assault against a player last year was only three months suspended, and the coach is now a leader in the region.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Welfare has said that it would disqualify all assault leaders for more than a year from 2016, but it was only a scream.

[Parents of victims: You continue to guide children with absurd discipline, and then you have no choice but to continue doing this. The Korean Sports Association has no intention of protecting (athletes) at all about assault and aggression.]

Since 2014, the Korea Sports Association has directly investigated only 3 out of 91 cases, including reports of assault by leaders.

All the rest was transferred to member organizations and community sports meetings.

[Won Min-kyung, Lawyer/Former Sports Innovation Commissioner of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism: (mostly, the perpetrators) are located in the upper part of the power structure. I don't think it would be easy for the investigation to go down properly to the municipal sports association or event group. (Athletics are) fully recognized and there is the thought (he never) want to try a totally invisible solve] this problem

is to assault eradicate voices that pay a heavy responsibility also Athletic Association, including advanced collective of been repeated only 'babysitting discipline' Is high.
