IBM's X-Force cybersecurity division has discovered video tutorials designed to train new hackers from one of the leading Iranian hacker groups. These explanatory videos had been left exposed on an online server, which shows that hackers continue to professionalize in their activity, explains the specialized media ZDNet  Saturday.

These video tutorials were made using the BandiCam screen recording application. Iranian hackers explain to new recruits how to perform various hacking actions, step by step, including how to target email or social media accounts.

According to specialists in IBM's X-Force division, these hackers are very meticulous in their way of doing things. On the other hand, no information was communicated on behalf of the American company on how the Iranian hackers managed to obtain the identification information of the accounts of the victims.

Among the victims identified in these videos were a member of the United States Navy and an officer of the Greek Navy. On the other hand, certain images showed the hackers' failures to access even more sensitive accounts, like the accounts of officials of the United States State Department. This group of Iranian hackers is known in particular for having carried out an attack against the American presidential campaign.
