Yonsei University professors who gave their daughters the best grades after taking the lectures they taught were caught in the Ministry of Education audit.

It has also been revealed that professors have unfairly given the opportunity for oral assessment to their fellow professors' children who had previously been simulated and had low scores in document screening.

It was found that the documents for the entrance of the graduate school of the son of the former Minister of Justice in his home country were revoked without permission.

The Ministry of Education announced today the results of a comprehensive audit of Yonsei University and the School of Education Yonsei University.

According to the results of the comprehensive audit of the Ministry of Education, one professor at Yonsei University was instructed to take a lecture on accounting related to the second semester in 2017, and recommended to take a daughter of college students who majored in food and nutrition, and gave A+ credits to her daughter.

It was found that Professor Lee attempted to avoid auditing by submitting test questions and writing correct answer sheets at home where she lives with her daughter.

The daughter of another professor enjoyed'Parent Chance', a professor at this school in the admission screening of Yonsei University Graduate School.

Six professors of the evaluation committee had prior consultations with the head professor, and given the opportunity to take an oral exam by raising the daughter of a fellow professor who was 9th in quantitative evaluation to the 5th place in paper review.

The professors of the evaluation committee gave their daughter's daughter an oral test score of 100 points, and unfairly lowered the oral test scores of two applicants who passed the paper review by 1st and 2nd points, 47 and 63, respectively.

Eventually, the daughter of a fellow professor finally passed as a new graduate student.

The Ministry of Education said that professors who improperly credited their children and professors who were involved in unfair selection of new graduate students were asked to investigate by the prosecution on the grounds of disrupting their work, while proposing disciplinary action against dismissal, dismissal, and honesty.

In the Yonsei University Graduate School, it was also discovered that a total of 1,080 copies of admission screening documents, such as document evaluation and oral test evaluation, were not preserved from late 2016 admission to late 2019 admission.

In order to improve the fairness of the admission process, it is compulsory to preserve the documents related to the entrance examination for graduate school for more than 4 years.

Among the unreserved admission screening documents, the admissions score sheet for the graduate school of the son of Cho, the Minister of Justice, was also included.

Cho's son, son Jo Mo (24), applied for the second semester of 2017 to drop out of the master's course in political diplomacy at Yonsei University, and then passed and accepted again in the first semester of 2018.

Controversy over the issue of whether the former son of Cho received a false internship certificate received from the Seoul National University's Center for Public Interest and Human Rights was asked to verify the date, but in September last year, Yonsei University found that his son's admissions data was lost, so the verification was not properly conducted.

The Ministry of Education commissioned the prosecution to investigate the violation of the Public Records Management Act.

Accounting corruption has also been uncovered.

The professors who held major positions in Yonsei University used a total of 1,51.8 million won as corporate cards without additional evidence.

Professors belonging to Yonsei University affiliated hospitals were found to have unfairly used 16.69 million won for 45 times and 257.56 million won for golf courses at the entertainment and pubs of Danlan.

Yonsei University received a total of 86 cases in this comprehensive audit, and 26 were punished severely.

Eight cases were accused of violating the private school law and alleged misconduct and embezzlement, and four more cases were filed for investigation due to obstruction of business and alleged misconduct.

An official from the Ministry of Education explained, "It is the first time since the opening of the school that a comprehensive audit was given to Yonsei University." Other schools have received an accounting audit even if they did not receive a comprehensive audit, but Yonsei University never received an accounting audit." .

Yonsei University was selected as the No. 1 comprehensive audit target after the Ministry of Education announced in June of last year that it would conduct a comprehensive audit of 16 private universities by 2021.

Today, the Ministry of Education also announced the results of a comprehensive audit for Hongik University, the target of comprehensive auditing No. 2, and Hongik Academy, a school corporation.

The Hongik Academy was found to have been executed in the accounting account provided by the tuition fees of students, even though it was necessary to pay 620 million won of property tax imposed on 49 parcels of land.

It was also found that 120 million won of the legal proceedings attorneys were unfairly drawn from school accounting, not corporate accounting.

According to the private school law, most of the tuition accounting that is covered by the student tuition cannot be used for any purpose other than the expenses directly required for school education.

Four professors of Hongik University were found to have unfairly received 16 million won after submitting a summary of the student's dissertation in the journal and submitting it as a research achievement to apply for the academic research promotion fee.

It was also found that there was a risk of school accidents due to poor safety management of facilities.

As a result of the audit, Hongik University did not designate 63 facilities, such as retaining walls, as vulnerable facilities, and did not conduct regular inspections.

Although the exterior walls of some buildings were peeled off, there was a risk of falling bricks, but no measures were taken to repair them.

Earlier last month, at Sejong University's general audit, school officials used more than 20 million won for personal purposes and paid'golden keys' to retirees, revealing various corruptions and irrationalities, and earned the originality of students.

Sejong University paid 10 gold money (purchase amount of 2.5 million won) each to 9 employees who retire at the expense of consumables, in addition to the retirement consolation money.

Expenses for consumables are used to purchase copy paper, office supplies, and subscription fees, which are used to buy a golden key for retirees.

In addition, scholarships with excellent grades were awarded to students whose grades did not meet the standards.

An executive at Daeyang Academy, a school corporation that operates Sejong University, has spent 15.97 million won in congratulations and condolences over 150 times as a business promotion fee, and has been unfairly executing business promotion expenses, such as scratching corporate cards of 617 million won while staying abroad for personal work. Was investigated.
