Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 will be released for PC on August 18. That was announced by Microsoft on Monday. The new part of the well-known airplane simulator is playable on Windows 10, an Xbox One version will come later.
Flight Simulator is a series that has been around since 1982. The program allows people to pretend to be pilots by flying different types of aircraft over the Earth. The real experience is simulated as well as possible.
In the game, data from Bing Maps and GPS data is used to simulate images of the Earth. The weather and traffic will also be adjusted to the current situation. People can fly both during the day and at night.
There are three different versions of the game. The standard version costs 70 euros and includes twenty planes and thirty airports. This version can also be played with a Game Pass subscription.
There will also be a more expensive edition of 90 euros. It offers five extra planes and airports, including Schiphol. The most expensive version of 120 euros offers five additional planes and airports.
Microsoft Flight Simulator is also planned for the Xbox One. No release date has yet been announced for that game console.
