This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

It is noted that on July 15, the first group of volunteers participating in the tests, after passing control tests, is planned to be discharged.

The military department said that at the moment, "complaints of well-being, negative reactions or adverse events are not observed."

July 13, the second group of volunteers, "which conducted a study of the effectiveness and immunogenicity of the vaccine, will be introduced the second component of the vaccine against coronavirus."

“The booster vaccination scheme, provided for the second group of volunteers, allows you to strengthen the immune system and provide an increase in its duration,” the Ministry of Defense explained.

The department said that the information obtained during the study "indicates the formation in volunteers of the first and second groups of the immune response to the introduction of the vaccine against coronavirus COVID-19."

It was previously reported that volunteers participating in trials of a coronavirus vaccine developed by the Russian Ministry of Defense in conjunction with the National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology named after Gamalei, there are no complications or adverse reactions.

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reported to Russian leader Vladimir Putin that studies on the vaccine against COVID-19 will be completed in late July.
