Lego launches line of posters in briquettes - Geeko

Lego has just unveiled a new range of products for adults who love construction and pop culture. With its Lego Art, the Danish company indeed offers fans to recreate the portrait of their idol, fictional or real, taken from pop culture in a pixel art version.

Lego obliges, it is not just a question of posters with the effigy of such or such personality, but construction. Each poster actually arrives in pieces. Fans will have to recreate the face of their idol from small briquettes by following the instructions provided.

And to support fans during their construction of more than 3,000 pieces, Lego offers a soundtrack adapted to the different characters.

At present, Lego has unveiled 4 sets of posters, each corresponding to a pop culture icon; Marilyn Monroe by Andy Warhol, The Beatles, Darth Vader and Iron Man.

Not given

Each batch can give rise to several versions of the icon. In the case of the Beatles, the box contains enough briquettes to recreate the faces of the 4 musicians individually. Same for the Star Wars kit, it is possible to recreate the portrait of Darth Vader, Darth Maul, as well as Kylo Ren. Fans will even be able to collect several boxes to build mega posters of their idol, including a version of Darth Vader brandishing his lightsaber or Iron Man launching an attack, arm outstretched.
