In Seoul, the police started an investigation after allegations that the patient was delayed and died due to a taxi that blocked an ambulance in an emergency.

Yesterday (3rd) On the homepage of the Blue House, there was a national petition from the Blue House titled, "Please punish the taxi driver who stopped by an ambulance with an emergency patient."

The petition grew rapidly, exceeding 290,000 AM today (4th).

According to Mr. Kim, 46, who filed a petition, the incident occurred on the 8th of last month on a road near Godeok Station, Subway Line 5, Gangdong-gu, Seoul at 3:15 pm.

In a phone call with a press, Kim said, "My 80-year-old mother, a patient with stage 4 lung cancer, had difficulty breathing, complained of pain, and was in a private ambulance and was going to the emergency room." "It's gone."

However, a taxi driver demanded an incident and stopped in front of an ambulance.

The driver of the ambulance said, "There is an emergency patient, so let's go to the hospital first." The taxi driver said, "The incident is the first thing. If the patient dies, I will take responsibility."

“The taxi driver opened the side door and the back door of the ambulance, and took a picture of his mother,” she said, stating that she was checking whether the actual patient was on board.

After about 10 minutes of wandering, Mr. Kim's mother was transferred to another ambulance that arrived at 119, and was transferred to a university hospital, but was unable to regain consciousness and died in the emergency room at 9:00 that night.

"My mother has never suffered such a sudden deterioration during her past three years of treatment. The day of the accident was not so serious at first, so she called a private ambulance, not 119," said Kim. Insisted.

The Seoul Gangdong Police Station is investigating whether the cause of death of an ambulance patient is related to a traffic accident.

A police official said, "We have completed the first investigation into the incident."
