<Anchor> The

Korean projectile'Nuriho' has great expectations and pride because we are developing the entire rocket from 1st to 3rd with our technology. However, the goal of launching in February next year has become difficult to achieve in practice for unforeseen reasons.

Reporter Jung Gu-hee reports independently.

<Reporter> The

Korea Aerospace Research Institute revealed that the Nuri engine test, etc. will be released until the beginning of this year, and that there will be no disruption to the launch schedule in February next year.

However, the outlook for projectile officials has recently changed by 180 degrees.

It is difficult to launch in February next year at the current development speed.

[Project launcher: I think launching in February will be difficult in reality. (This year) I'm going to form a dedicated evaluation team in September to discuss the entire schedule.]

There was also an internal coincidence that the launch time could be delayed from several months up to a year.

The causes are largely due to the slow development speed and parts supply and demand.

It has been reported that anti-accident took longer than expected to create a fuel tank used for projectiles.

Also, due to the explosion of the Hanwha plant in Daejeon in February of last year, the production of the engine's main part, the Pyro Starter, was delayed due to the six months of operation.

If the launch of the Nuri is delayed, there is a high possibility that subsequent projectile development projects will be delayed one after the other, and more than 150 companies involved in projectile development may be hit.

[Cho Sang-yeon/Hang Woo-yeon, Project Launcher Team Leader: We need to connect to the next project. Even the companies now have a quantity (to be delivered) to keep it… .] Even if the

project period is increased, it seems that the project cost will not increase by KRW 1.9 trillion. In this case, other side effects such as labor costs may also occur.
