Spotify passes 130 million subscribers - Geeko

The Swedish streaming giant Spotify is today launching a new subscription formula designed for couples. Called Spotify Duo, it allows lovers to make pretty savings.

Until now, Spotify only offered a family offer at 14.99 euros / month, which allowed six people from the same family to use the service, and an offer intended for a single user, billed for 9, 99 euros / month. The new Duo formula is positioned halfway between these two formulas, at a price of 12.99 euros / month.

Under the same roof

However, be careful not to go headlong, because if on paper the Duo formula is interesting, it only applies to couples living under the same roof. Spotify had recently revised its terms of use. Several accounts would have been deactivated for having bypassed them. If it does not say so explicitly, Spotify can theoretically ensure that the two people who share the subscription plan live under the same roof.
