child jumps out of an illegally parked vehicle, the driver is hard to cope with.

In fact, nearly 30% of the 244 children's accidents in the Children's Protection Zone in Seoul over the past three years were found to have been affected by parked vehicles.

Starting today, if residents report an illegally parked vehicle in front of the front gate of an elementary school, a fine will be charged even without on-site enforcement.

If residents who found illegal parking vehicles report to the requirements through the Safety Newspaper app, officials can impose a fine of 80,000 won on a passenger car basis without going to the site.

When filing a report, two or more photos that identify the offending area and vehicle number must be taken and attached.

Safety signs, such as yellow solid lines and signs indicating child shelter and no parking, should also appear.

Resident Notification System is for vehicles parked illegally on the road in front of the main entrance of elementary school between 8 am and 8 pm on weekdays.

Areas corresponding to four illegal parking lots, such as pedestrian crossings or intersections within 5 meters, are subject to a 24-hour resident notification system.

The government plans to impose a fine on August 3 after a month of transition.
