In the offshore of Benin, West Africa, five Korean sailors were abducted by gunmen on the 24th (local time), and seafarer Piomarin is busy working to understand local conditions and prepare countermeasures.

It is known that the Piomarin side heard the news of a sailor's abduction from a Korean employee at a Ghana corporation at 6:30 am today (25th).

Fiomarine said that 30 people were on board at the time in the'Panofi Frontier', where tuna was operated locally, of which 5 were Koreans and 25 were Canaan.

Armed with a speed boat on this ship, the gunman appears to have kidnapped five Koreans and one Ghanaian, a double-ranking crew member.

The abducted Korean sailors were known as the captain (61 years old), the head of the agency (56 years old), the 1st fighter (50 years old), the 1st knight (50 years old), and the deck crew (56 years old).

Piomarin is trying to contact the sailor's family, but it is not easy to reach.

The abducted Korean sailor is said to be from various regions including Busan.

Piomarin says it has not heard any requirements from the local gunmen to the present.

An official from Piomarin said, "I am just grasping the local situation shortly after receiving the fact of the abduction." We will notify the family and take action.
