Masks have become a new accessory, that is clear, even a fashion accessory. So a Belgian entrepreneur has decided to print his personal touch ... literally. Using a photo booth, software and a mobile app, Charles de Bellefroid has created masks with the lower half of the user's face printed.

"We use our Cheesebox (that's what the photo booth is called) to take the photo to be printed on the mask," he explains. The idea came to her after confinement sank her event organization company.

"A mask is impersonal. Having our face printed makes it friendlier, it's more fun," says Virginie Thys , a mother of two from Genval on the outskirts of Brussels. "Now we all wear a mask, we better recognize each other. It's a great idea."

When placing an order, customers receive a link to an application that allows them to take a photo of their face and send it to the company's website. Masks with the lower half of the individual's face printed arrive by regular mail a few days later. It costs 19.99 euros and can be washed 8 to 10 times, according to Bellefroid.
