Nine people were arrested Monday morning in the Dijon metropolitan area, following a new search for weapons and narcotics carried out after the violence that occurred from June 12 to 15, said the public prosecutor, Eric Mathais.

The nine individuals, all placed in police custody, were arrested in the sensitive district of Grésilles and in Saint Apollinaire, in the suburbs of Dijon. The operation notably made it possible to seize three dismantled rifles and bags containing between two and three kg of cartridges, the prosecutor said.
