Coronavirus Infectious Disease-19 (Corona19) A man sentenced to jail for being sentenced to jail for going out to a sauna or restaurant while going out without permission during self-isolation.

The Seoul Eastern District Court today (16th) sentenced to 68-year-old Kim Mo, who was accused of violating the Act on the Prevention and Management of Infectious Diseases, and sentenced him to one year in prison for four months in prison.

Even though the defendant received a quarantine notice, the judge said, “I was considering not only accepting and reflecting on all crimes,” he said.

He continued, "The defendant finally received a corona 19 negative decision, and no additional propagation occurred due to a violation of self-isolation. "When entering Korea, there was no special property in hand, and there was no proper place for self-isolation." I explained why.

On the second day after entering the United States, Kim was arrested by the police on April 11 of this year for violating the Corona 19 self-containment guidelines and leaving the property twice to visit saunas and restaurants.

This was the first instance of self-separation leading to arrest.

Earlier, the prosecution sought a six-month imprisonment for Kim at a trial held on the 19th of last month.

The first case sentenced to death for violating self-containment guidelines came from Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi-do.

The Uijeongbu District Court sentenced a man in his twenties to four months in prison for charges of leaving the residence two days before the release of self-quarantine on the 26th of last month.
