police reported the results of the investigation in a month and a half after the fire in the Icheon Logistics Warehouse where 38 people were killed and 12 wounded.

It turned out that the fire was a talented person who was forced to shorten construction periods and ignore safety rules.

On the day of the fire, the police found that the fire started as sparks splashed into the ceiling during the welding of the second-floor plumbing underground.

Most of the walls and ceilings of the building were coated with urethane foam, but the welding embers were transferred and the fire started.

Safety rules have not been observed.

On the day of the accident, 67 workers were employed, twice as much as usual, to reduce the duration of the construction, but at the same time, various tasks involving fire and explosion were carried out at the same time.

In order to prevent sparks from flying or flying during welding work, it is a principle to work in a two-person, one-man group, but construction workers worked alone.

In particular, the fire spread through the elevator aisles and stairs in an instant, but there were no temporary firefighting facilities, such as emergency induction lights and simple evacuation guides, other than emergency warning devices.

Even if it was said to prevent condensation, the evacuation route was blocked by bricking the installation space of the fire door.

The police hired 24 people, including a client and a construction contractor, who judged that they were responsible for a large-scale disaster, and filed a warrant for arrest for nine heavy suspects.
