Is the Californian firm in the process of setting up a new naming system for its updates? It would seem. After switching from iOS 13.4.5 to iOS 13.5 for a simple beta update, Apple repeats the thing by switching from iOS 13.5.5 to iOS 13.6.
This new surprise name still indicates a change in the operating system of iOS 13. It is not only a question of fixing bugs and other security vulnerabilities. Version 6 of iOS 13 brings some changes, including automatic download. It is now possible to automatically download an update and install it without having to do anything.
We also note modifications to the Exposure Notification API, the tool for developing an application for tracking people infected with the coronavirus developed with Google.
New for the Health app
With iOS 13.6, the Health app gains a new section called "Symptoms". IPhone owners will be able to list the symptoms they are suffering from in the app, a welcome addition given the health context. Each symptom listed is accompanied by a description. A person will be able to follow the evolution of their feelings or their illness by specifying the physical improvements or degradations felt over the days in the application.
The new beta is available for developers and members of the beta-testing program. Go to the settings of your device, General> Software update to download it.
