I think that the virus spreads well when it is cold and weak in the heat. So, even though Corona 19, which started in winter, may be faded when the day gets hot, experts say that heat is not a big variable.

For more information, reporter Jung Gu-hee will report.

Citizens wearing short-sleeved shorts and masks, and the number of corona19 confirmers in Singapore, has surged since April.

The average temperature in April is over 25 degrees Celsius, and the humidity is over 70%, similar to the midsummer weather in Korea.

It is known that the virus does not spread well in most hot environments, but Singapore has 8,200 confirmed cases per 1 million population, 35 times more than Korea's 233.

As the day gets hot, the spread of corona may decrease, but academics say that heat waves are not an important variable.

In addition to Singapore, as seen earlier, there are other cases where the number of confirmed people has exploded in hot countries like Panama and Equatorial Guinea.

A recent study by a Chinese research team analyzing a case in the United States where the temperature difference between the two Koreas is large is similar.

In the case of Corona 19, one patient spreads the virus in about 2.5 to 3 patients, and this spreading power decreases by 0.2 every time the temperature rises by 10 degrees.

In order to stop the spread of the virus, the propagation power must be less than 1 person, but the study above shows that the temperature must rise by more than 75 degrees, which makes it difficult for Corona 19 to actually fade due to heat waves.

Iran, it is confirmed that the second pandemic will come out even though the temperature is rising. There are also concerns that the second pandemic, which was expected this fall or winter, may come this summer because the number of people is growing rapidly.
