A man in his 40s who shot a long cat's head with an arrow and blinded him to court again with the prosecution's appeal.

According to the Jeonju District Court today (10th), the Jeonju District Prosecutor's Office of Gunsan District District Office of Justice filed an appeal on the 5th after disagreeing with the first trial, which sentenced Mr. A, 47 years of age, two years of probation to one year in prison.

Mr. A was accused of hurting a cat with an arrow with a hunting arrowhead in his yard in Oryong-dong, Gunsan-si, Jeollabuk-do Province, in May last year. The arrowhead'Broad Head' used by Mr. A is a dangerous product with 3 blades that can cause excessive bleeding in a short time and cause extreme pain.

A cat with an arrow on his head and severely injured was roamed around Gunsan Daehak-ro and was rescued in July last year by the Animal Freedom Association, an animal protection civil society group. It was immediately transferred to an animal hospital for emergency treatment, but eventually the left eye was blind.
The police, which began investigations with the Animal Freedom Report, captured Mr. A in four months after analyzing the CCTV near the spot where the cat was found and tracking the arrowhead purchase route. Mr. A admitted to the crime, saying, "I shot an arrow to expel the cat from the yard."

The court of the first instance said, "The defendant's crime was not good for sin." Mr. A, who admitted all the charges in court, did not file an appeal.

The prosecution, who sought a sentence of one year and six months in prison, appealed, saying, "The sentence of the first trial is too light." They have to be punished more strongly."
