The police filed for a warrant for a 50-year-old driver who injured three children, including a child, by rushing into a playground in an apartment complex in Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do.

On the 8th, the Gwangju Police Station filed an arrest warrant for Mr. Jang Mo (50) on special charges.

Jang is suspected of hurting 3 children, including 2 children and 1 adult, by driving his car on a playground in an apartment complex in Konjiam-eup, Gwangju, on the 7th at 3:42 pm.

The injured people were taken to the hospital for treatment, but were reported to have no problem with life.

Some playground facilities, such as rides, and two bicycles that were built around it were also destroyed.

When Jang's car crashed into a part of the playground facilities and stopped, the villagers rushed and overpowered him, and Jang was soon arrested as a current criminal by the dispatched police.

At the time of the crime, Jang was not drinking.

After the arrest, he was reportedly extorted in the police investigation, saying that he had remained silent, or "they were trying to contaminate Gwangju without wearing a mask."

A police official said, "The child has been seriously injured and the case has been filed for a warrant for arrest."
