The so-called 'n-prohibition law' was implemented today (19th) to strengthen punishment for sexual crimes after the illegal sexual exploitation of Telegram.

Starting today, you can be punished for up to three years in prison by simply holding or watching illegally shot videos.

The government issued three amendments to the law today (19th), the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Violence and the Law on the Regulation and Punishment of Criminal Profit Concealment.

The revised provision came into effect immediately after the promulgation, with some exceptions, such as rape of the agenda for minors under the age of 13 and abolition of the statute of limitations of the crime of molestation.

Possession or purchase, storage, or viewing of illegal sexual images for adults is punishable by imprisonment for not more than 3 years or a fine not exceeding 30 million won.

So far, only possession of pornography used by children and youth has been punished.

The legal punishment for the production and dissemination of sexually exploited videos has been raised from 'Prison of five years or less or fine of 30 million won or less' to 'Prime of seven years or less or fine of 50 million or less'.

It is punishable to distribute video clips taken by the victim without consent, as in the case of 'Room n'.

Intimidation and coercion using sexually recorded material is subject to the Sexual Violence Punishment Act instead of the existing Criminal Act, and is punished by a sentence of one year or three years in prison.

The age limit for rape for minors has been increased from 13 years old to 16 years old.

Accordingly, if you have sex with a minor under the age of 16, you will be punished regardless of whether the other person agrees.

However, if the victim is 13 years old or younger than 16 years old, the adult will be punished only if an adult over the age of 19 has committed the crime.

The punishment for sex crimes against minors under 13 has also been strengthened.

The fines have been removed from the mandatory penalties for punishment, and punished only by imprisonment for five years or more.

The statute of limitations on the agenda and rape will be abolished on November 20th.

The revised legislation makes it easier to recover the revenue from digital sex crimes.

If you commit a crime such as illegal shooting or distributing false video, you can recover the property acquired during the crime as a crime profit.
