Chun Doo-hwan's family still does not pay about half of the 2,205 billion won in fines. I was holding up saying that there was no money, but at the same time, I was caught in Seoul's fine restaurants and golf courses. In addition to this, unlike past promises to give out all the fines, there is now a legal battle to protect property.

Reporter Lee Hyun-young will explain this.

<Reporter> After the

Supreme Court sentenced Chun Doo-hwan to a fine of KRW 220.5 billion in 1997, Mr. Chun paid KRW 31.2 billion in deposits and bonds.

Then, in a property trial hearing held in 2003, Mr. Jeon filed a deposit document with a balance of 290,000, claiming that this was all property, and was controversial.

Ten years later, in 2013, a special team for property retrieval for the former family was held at the prosecutor's office, and aka 'Chun Doo-hwan' was also created.

At this time, the prosecution additionally executed about 55 billion won by selling the assets of the former family members, but from 2014 to last year, only about 2 billion dollars were found and collected every year.

During this process, Mr. Jeon, who wanted to cooperate with the property return as much as possible, changed his attitude and appealed to the execution of the sale of the sisters at Yeonhui-dong.

Mr. Jeon says he is Alzheimer's and refuses to attend the trial, but continues his luxurious life by playing golf and having lunch with members of the Hanahoe at the finest restaurant.

Even if the Supreme Court ruling surrounding Osan Forest, owned by the former son of Cha, is confirmed and an additional 7.5 billion won is collected, the unpaid fines remain over 90 billion won.

Fortunately, in February, the Constitutional Constitutional Decision on Chun Doo-Hwan's constitutional law was announced, and the punishment for the former family property, which was hidden in the name of a third party, could continue.
