Moon Gyung-wook (24, university student), who was arrested by the police as an operator of 'n-room', a telegram chat room sharing sexual exploitation, is handed over to the prosecution on the 18th.

The Gyeongbuk Provincial Police Agency announced that Moon Hyeong-wook, who was arrested for alleged violations of the Child and Youth Protection Act, will be sent to the Andong Branch of the Daegu District Prosecutor's Office at 2:00 pm on that day.

The police will release the face of Mr. Moon in front of the front door of the Andong Police Station before the prosecution is dispatched, in accordance with the decision of the Deliberation Committee to release personal information.

Hyung-Wook Moon is accused of producing sexual exploitation videos for minors and distributing them to telegram chat rooms around 2018.

The police initially investigated 10 victims of sexual exploitation, but after Mr. Moon was arrested, he said he had identified more than 11 victims, and added that the information was included in the crime.

Investigations have also shown that Mr. Moon threatened three victim parents who tried to report to the police.

Police are expanding the investigation, stating that he has begun similar crimes around 2015 and further confirming the crimes committed in June 2015.

Police officials said, "We plan to continue to identify and protect and support additional victims and continue investigating suspected crimes and accomplices."
