Yes. The first trial of former Homeland Minister, who was charged with the prosecution of the prosecution and the corruption of the entrance exam, began at 10 am.

After about 25 minutes, the prosecution and lawyers talked to each other, and decided to stop until 2 pm.

Former Minister Jo also attended court, and let's hear what he said in front of reporters.

[Homeland / Former Minister of Justice: It was a painful time. However, for all reasons, we regret it. The prosecution will refute the distorted and exaggerated charges one by one according to facts and laws. I will fight tirelessly.]

Today's trial covers the allegations that, while serving as the chief of the Blue House, Min-Soo Cho, he was in charge of inspecting former vice mayor Yoo Jae-Soo, among other charges received by former Minister Cho.

In 2017, when former Minister of Justice Min Jeong-seok was reportedly susceptible to deputy mayor Yoo, he was accused of stopping inspections of the Blue House special committee.

At the time of the preparations for the trial last March, Cho's defense lawyers announced that they would deny all prosecutors' charges against the prosecution's subjective thoughts.

It was said that only the intelligence obtained at the time was not subject to an investigation, and the decision of the investigation was an inherent authority of the chief civil officer.

On the other hand, the prosecution applied the alleged interference to the exercise of the right to abuse the authority of the authorities, saying that the former secretary abused his authority to prevent the special supervisor from inspecting it.

It is expected that both sides will launch a fierce logic workshop from the first trial today.

The charges against the entrance exam were not dealt with today's trial, so Professor Cho's wife, Professor Kyung-Shim Chung, was not in court.

However, whether or not Chung will be imprisoned after the arrest period next week will be decided by midnight.
