Yes, the shelter here is about 7km from the first ignition point.

Today (2nd), the residents who evacuated to the shelter after completing the main fire extinguishing work by the authorities around 8:00 am are now returning to their homes.

Tianjin Elementary School, where I was once, had about 200 people evacuated, but I listened to the news bulletin all night and asked for a sleep.

Last night, the villagers began to smell smoke and scents from the forest fire, and quickly moved to the shelter.

When the forest fires in this area, the residents also knew that the fire was spreading rapidly by a strong wind, so they moved without delay.

In addition to the residents, about 1,800 soldiers from nearby military units were evacuated.

When the wildfire began, the strong winds quickly spread and the soldiers of the 22nd Division of the Army moved to Sokcho Public Stadium and nearby schools in full control.

Currently, we have caught the main payment, but since the dry warning is in effect, there is a possibility of recurrence of the forest fire.

No one was injured by this fire, but six buildings, including 85 hectares and a wooden house, burned down.

The fire department will conduct precise investigations to investigate the specific damages.
