Let's connect a reporter from the forest site in Goseong-gun, Gangwon-do. Let's take a look at the fire site and the speed of the extinguishing work. Reporter Cho Jae-geun is on the scene.

Reporter Joe, can you tell me the situation?

<Reporter>

Yes, I'm near Dowon Reservoir in Goseong-gun, Gangwon-do.

It is about 1km from the first wildfire, but you will see a private house behind me.

Just a few minutes ago, an emergency was unfolding as the flames came down to the neighborhood of the house.

This road, which I see to the left, is a road that crosses the village, and fire trucks are lined up along this road to build a defensive line.

There are still strong winds of 7 and 8 m / sec at the scene of wildfires, but there are occasional gusts of flurry.

About 800 firefighting personnel and 800 equipment, including civil servants and firefighting teams, were put into the forest fire field to continue the firefighting operation overnight. Focused on blocking.

Forest authorities plan to extinguish forest fires as soon as possible, including the introduction of 18 helicopters from the Korea Forest Service and rental helicopters and military helicopters.

Forest authorities estimate that three buildings, including a house and a boiler room, were burned and 85 hectares of forest were lost.

Fortunately, no human casualties were found.
