Reporter Cho Yoon-ha. (Yes, I'm at Gimpo Airport.) I think the airport will be crowded from tomorrow. How was today?

<Reporter>

Yes, here at Gimpo Airport, travelers have been walking all day.

Now, most of the planes are located in domestic departures such as Jeju Island, and it seems to be slack, but only some passengers waiting for flights that have not yet departed from the departure hall.

From today to the 6th of the next month, over 1,900 flights are operated for only 8 days between Gimpo and Jeju.

On average, there are 238 flights a day, which is about 100 more than the beginning of this month.

It is known that about 50,000 people used Gimpo Airport today.

there are a lot of people coming and going, I am very worried about quarantine.

<Reporter>

Yes, it is. Traffic congestion is expected to be similar to a holiday, because it seems that crowds will be attracted not only to Jeju Island, but also to tourist attractions such as Gangwon-do and the East Coast.

The Korea Highway Corporation predicted that the number of highway traffic would increase by 8% over the holidays to 4.45 million units.

Tomorrow is expected to take 6 hours and a half by car from Seoul to Busan.

Seoul Station was crowded like Gimpo Airport as there were many people trying to travel by train. Today, KTX trains departing from Seoul have very few seats after 4 PM.
