Son Jung-woo, operator of 'Welcome to Video', a child sexual exploitation site in the process of repatriation to the United States, was arrested again today at the jail.

According to the corrections authorities, the Seoul Higher Prosecutors' Office issued an Indian warrant for imprisonment in Seoul jail this afternoon, the expiration date of the sentence.

Son, who was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison for allegedly producing and distributing pornography under the Youth Sex Protection Act, was due to be released today.

However, as Seoul High Court issued an Indian warrant for repatriation on the 20th, it was unable to escape the detention center.

Prosecutors are expected to file a court case with Son for criminal extradition within this month.

Under the extradition law, extradition proceedings are due within three days from the date of arrest as an Indian warrant.

The court must decide whether to deliver within two months.

The Indian screening is a single trial, there is no objection, and the final decision is made by the Minister of Justice.

Son was accused of operating a 'welcome to video' site on the Dark Web, which can only be accessed using a special browser from July 2015 to March 2018, for allegedly distributing sexual exploits.

Son is also charged with US courts for nine charges, including distributing child pornography.

However, even if they are repatriated to the United States, it is expected that they will be tried only for charges of international money laundering, which do not overlap with the convictions and domestic convictions that are punishable by Korean law among crimes targeted for extradition.
