Seoul City releases 540 billion won and gives cash to self-employed and small business owners who are struggling with Corona 19.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on the 23rd that it would pay a total of 1.4 million won for 2 months to 700,000 won per month for small business owners and small business owners.

The target audience was registered as a business operator in Seoul, with annual sales of less than 200 million won, and more than 6 months of experience as of February 29 of this year, and approximately 420,000 self-employed and small business owners.

Excluding entertainment, entertainment, and gambling industries.

This figure is equivalent to 72% of all 570,000 self-employed and small business owners in Seoul, excluding the excluded industries.

The input budget is 540 billion won.

Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that it would raise funds through restructuring of appropriations without issuing local bonds.

Registration will be made online after mid-May.

From June, it is accepted offline.

The required documents, where to submit, and how to submit them have not been released.

The city said it would minimize the paperwork so that self-employed people would not be confused by the issuance.

The 'self-employed cash payment' decision is based on the judgment that there are limits to existing loan-oriented support measures.

A city official explained, "As a result of listening to experts and on-site voices, it was concluded that cash support is the answer to self-employed and small business owners who have low ability to repay loans and are unable to receive support from the government and the city, such as disaster and emergency costs of living."

According to the analysis of the city, it was not easy for the government and Seoul's policy loans to obtain loans for small business owners and small business owners who had only earned their lives even before Corona 19.

Mayor Park Won-soon of Seoul said, "We need to circumnavigate government and parliamentary discussions as much as it is necessary for the nationwide self-employed survivorship funds to be restored in order to restore the daily life and re-leap not only in Seoul but also in the whole of Korea."
