Inspired by an application launched on March 20 in Singapore, a digital tracking tool could see the light of day in the coming months in France. On April 8, the Secretary of State for Digital, Cédric O, revealed in an interview with Le Monde the main lines of this project responsible for monitoring the epidemic and facilitating deconfinement.

Entitled "Stop Covid", this application is developed under the leadership of Inria, the National Research Institute for Digital Science and Technology. What can it be used for, what fears does it arouse and why? 20 Minutes takes stock on video, a few days before a planned debate in Parliament on this tool.
