Three paying members who participated in the chat room surrendered to the police in connection with the case of the telegram 'Parkbang', which made and spread sexual exploitation against women.

The Seoul Regional Police Agency's Cyber Safety Division announced today (31 days) that "three of the paid members of 'Parkbang' operated by Mr. Cho have surrendered to date."

Even after Dr. Jo Joo-bin (24) was arrested, related investigations continued, and they were said to have expressed their willingness to embroider themselves.

Some are known to have completed police investigations.

Earlier on the 27th of this month, a man in his 40s, who is believed to have joined the doctor's room, made an extreme choice at the Yeongdongdaegyo Bridge on the Han River.

In the scene where the man died, a note was found stating, "I deposited money in the doctor's room, but I didn't know that things would grow like this. I'm sorry for the victims, families, and relatives."

The police emphasized that they would punish those who participated in illegal activities, including participating in chat rooms and assisting Mr. Cho's crime, regardless of whether they were surrendered or not.

Lee Yong-pyo, the head of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, said, “I think it will help to uncover the reality of the Dr. Bang case, which is a national concern,” when the three members first announced their intention to embroider.

"Aside from the police investigation, it is the minimum pursuit for victims and the public to help their clients self-help and cooperate in uncovering the reality of the incident and being punished for their illegal activities," said Lee.

He continued, "The Dr. Bang case is an anti-human and vicious crime that distributes and shares sexual exploits." He said, "We will focus on investigative powers and investigate thoroughly with the aim of strictly punishing all participants regardless of their number."

The police are now confirming the profits of the crimes that Mr. Cho collected from the doctor's room while speeding up the investigation into paid members.

Earlier, the police seized and searched three cryptocurrency exchanges such as Bithumb, Upbit, and CoinOne, and Best Coin, a trading agency, to secure relevant data, such as cryptocurrency wallets used by Cho.

The police have also identified 15,000 nicknames of telegram users who participated in the chat room operated by Mr. Cho.

Accordingly, the police are focusing on identifying the personal information of the paid members first by comparing the nickname information with data such as cryptocurrency transaction history.

It has been reported that the police have already made progress in investigations by specifying some paid members and preparing for forced investigations.

There is also work being done to decrypt the two phones that Joe used recently.

When he was caught by the police, it was confirmed that Mr. Cho had one cell phone, but the other one was hidden inside the house.

It is known that Mr. Cho admitted all the crimes, but he was obsessed with the password of the mobile phone.

The police will confirm Mr. Cho's further offenses, and will decide sooner or later whether to deal with the new recruits.
