Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is releasing three new Mi 10 smartphones in Europe. The smartphone maker announced this during a live stream on Friday.
The Mi 10 series consists of the Mi 10, the Mi 10 Pro and the Mi 10 Lite. The Mi10 and Mi 10 Pro have largely the same specifications: a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. They both have 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The Mi 10 has a 4780 mAh battery, the Mi 10 Pro a 4500 mAh battery.
The main difference between the two phones is in the cameras. Both phones have a main camera of 108 megapixel and a 20 megapixel selfie camera. The Mi 10 has a seven-element lens, the Pro version one with eight elements. The regular Mi 10 also has an ultra-wide-angle lens of 13 megapixel, with the Mi 10 Pro this is 20 megapixel.
The Mi 10 Pro also has a 12 megapixel portrait camera and a zoom lens with ten times hybrid zoom. Hybrid zoom is a combination of optical and digital zoom, with details filled in by the software. The regular Mi 10 has a macro camera and depth sensor. The Mi 10 will cost 799 euros, the Mi 10 Pro 999 euros.
Mi 10 Lite
Then there is also a Lite version of the Mi 10 series. The Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite has a 6.57 inch OLED screen, a 48 megapixel main camera with three additional lenses and a 4160 mAh battery. Further specifications were not presented in the presentation of Xiaomi. This phone will cost 349 euros.
An exact release date of the phones is not yet known, the devices would be released in the first half of April.
