Recently, an international student from the United States went to Jeju, ignoring the recommendation to self-contain, and was confirmed. I had been traveling for five days even though I had had suspicious symptoms from the first day I went to Jeju. Jeju Island is also considering legal responses.

I am JIBS Kim Yeon-sun.

This is a large resort in Seogwipo City.

Mr. A, a 19-year-old international student who visited this site, was confirmed and suspended temporarily.

[Resort officials: As of this morning (70 guests), we will check out all of them and we will release 3 days from today.]

After returning from the United States on the 15th, Mr. A ignored the self-isolation recommendation for two weeks and went on a family trip to Jeju within five days of entering.

I went around the northern part of Jeju with a rental car for 4 days and 5 days.

[Bae Jong-myeon / Jeju Autonomous Region Director of Infectious Disease Management Support: (Mr. A) used a ship to Udo. If you add up the number of passengers, maybe 100 people.]

Mr. A has been feeling chills and body aches since the first day of visiting Jeju and was found to have been prescribed medication at the hospital.

[Expert visit hospital officials: (What symptoms did you have?) I have a physical aura, a sore throat, and a stuffy nose ... .]

However, hospitals and pharmacies did not show Mr. A's overseas travel history to the screening clinic, and it was found that Mr. A did not wear a mask in half of the 30 places he visited.

Mr. A was immediately examined on the 24th when he returned to Seoul and was confirmed with his mother.

[Won Hee-Ryong / Governor of Jeju Autonomous Region: We will take resolute legal action against those who do not comply with the quarantine guidelines.]

Around 40 people who came into contact with Mr. A went into self-isolation, and Jeju Autonomous Region decided to claim damages of more than 100 million won, saying that Mr. A's mother and daughter were intentional.
