Many of the Seoul academies that closed on the occasion of school closings opened this week.

The closing rate of Seoul academies and training centers was 42.1% on the 12th, but decreased to 23.8% in four days.

Seven out of ten schools started accepting students again.

Gangnam and Seocho-gu, the representative school districts, had only 16.9% of schools closed.

Schools say they have been closed for three weeks after closing on the 24th of last month.

On the bulletin board of the national petition at Cheong Wa Dae, there were more than 2,000 consents to petitions to make school holidays mandatory.

There is growing concern that the government's policy of postponing school opening to prevent close contact with students is more than half the policy.
