Dozens of confirmed corona19 at a call center in Guro-gu, Seoul. So far, more than 70 people have been infected, including call center employees and their families, and the number is expected to increase as the test continues. Worrying is that there are other offices, wedding halls and officetels in the 19-story building where the call center is located, and the settlements are spread throughout Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi and the metropolitan area.

First, let's look at reporter Kim Deok-hyun report and connect directly to the field.

<Reporter> A notice was posted on the door indicating the closure of the building.

A temporary screening clinic on the side of the building has been waiting for all day.

Corona19 confirmers came out from the Seoul Shindorim-dong Korea Building Call Center.

Yesterday, starting with a 57-year-old call center employee, in just two days, more than 70 employees and family members were confirmed.

All confirmed employees worked in the call centers of the insurance company on the 11th floor of the building, and their residences are spread throughout Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon.

[Park Won-soon / Seoul Mayor: I think that even if the family of the examiners are hit, there will probably be a copper line throughout the metropolitan area]

In addition to the 11th floor, the call center also used three more floors, ranging from the seventh to the ninth floors.

Because of this, it is likely that the number of confirmed patients will increase as the test progresses. There are 140 households in the officetel from the 13th to 19th floors of the building, where elevators were shared with call center staff.

[Officetel Resident: It's true that you're nervous. I feel a little scared because I feel right in front of me.]

Guro-gu closed all commercial facilities and offices from the 1st to 12th floors of the building, excluding officetels.

Yun Kun-young, the candidate office for the sixth floor of the building, was also closed, and Yoon was voiced.

With more than 70 confirmed patients, the Sindorim call center infection has become the largest group infection case in the Seoul metropolitan area beyond Eunpyeong St. Mary's Hospital, where 14 confirmed patients.

Reporter Kim Deok-hyun, I saw a screening clinic on the first floor of the building, and is it still being tested?

<Reporter>

Yes, a temporary screening clinic has been established here at 10:00 am. It also inspects call center staff, tenant companies such as wedding halls, officetel residents, and visitors to the building.

At one point, the line lasted up to several tens of meters, but now the test is over, and it looks rather quiet.

The 207 employees at the 11th floor call center, most concerned about infection, were required to be screened at screening clinics near their residence.

About 400 people were examined today at the clinic, including call center staff and officetel residents on the seventh, eighth and ninth floors.

Guro-gu is scheduled to reopen the clinic at 9:00 am tomorrow and there are hundreds of people who have not yet been examined.

So far, the number of confirmed residents has been living in Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi, so three regional organizations have responded together.

Today, Mayor Park Won-soon, Mayor Park Nam-chun, Incheon Mayor, and Hee-kyung Kim, Gyeonggi-do Governor of Gyeonggi Province, had emergency meetings. At the meeting, the city decided to identify and urgently check all the businesses in Seoul where a large number of people, like a call center, are concentrated in one place.

As call center sponsors appeared in the metropolitan area at the same time, they decided to take joint measures such as sharing the status of private call centers and the results of epidemiological surveys.
