"The chapel is not allowed. Please worship online until next week."

The members who visited the Yoido Full Gospel Church in Seoul were upset and turned around without hearing the news that Sunday 1 (Sunday) worship had been converted to home video worship.

Some shed tears in tears saying they could not worship.

An official of the Yoido Full Gospel Church explained, "We usually gather about 20,000 people during worship service. Today, only a few choirs and executive ministers attended and decided to worship in small groups and broadcast online."

In the chapel of Yoido Full Gospel Church, only twenty or so worshipers sat at a distance of more than one meter.

Only one door was opened and the parking lot was blocked.

Not only Yoido Full Gospel Church, but also many churches in Seoul stopped offline Sunday worship services such as Jung-gu Youngrak Church, Gangnam-gu Chunghyeon Church, Gwanglim Church, Gangnam-dongsan Church, Hope Church, Gwangjin-gu Square Church, Gangdong-gu Prestige Church, and Jongno-gu Saemunan Church.

Reverend Lee Young-hoon, Yoido Full Gospel Church, said in the worship service, "We will worship for the first time in an emergency state with corona 19." There were government guidelines to refrain from religious events and decided to go online for the safety of the saints.

On the other hand, there were some churches that performed Sunday worship.

Worship was also held in a church in Guro-gu, Seoul.

After wearing their masks, the masked believers entered the chapel in turn through a thermal camera.

A church official said, "I would like to worship Sunday as the last worship service, but I decided to worship because there was much more approval."

However, even in churches where Sunday worship was conducted, the visits of believers decreased.

In a church chapel in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, more than 200 people wearing masks sat sparingly.

A church official said, "It's usually filled with 1,200 seats, but it seems to be about a fifth full today."

The official said, "We recommended online worship service and stopped offering lunch."

One believer who participated in the church service in Jongno-gu said, "It is because it is better to do the church than to live the faith at home."

Another member of the church who worshiped at Eunpyeong-gu Church said, "I came to the church to see the pastor and listen to the Word.
