Steps are moving up, one by one, by another, preventing people from entering our country. Today, the Asiana airliner, which had departed from Vietnam by letting the South Korean plane to Hanoi get off at a remote airport, came back in the middle. Yet another Vietnamese national airliner just landed at Hanoi Airport.

People gather at the Incheon International Airport Asiana Airlines Information Desk.

Passengers on a flight back to Incheon Airport on their way to Hanoi, Vietnam.

[Yu Sung-Jin / Flyer Asiana Airlines occupant: (in flight) We're going to fly to Noi Bai (Hanoi) airport and Vietnamese government's order to make landing impossible. The plane ticket is booked now and you have to enter (Vietnam), but you can't talk anywhere.]

Flight 729, carrying 40 passengers, took off from Incheon International Airport at 10:10 am today and returned in 40 minutes.

It was due to the Vietnamese authorities' advice to change the landing to Bundon airport, not Hanoi.

[Asiana Airlines: I was informed by the Hanoi branch that the destination airport had changed around 10:50. It's not an airport that has ever landed, so to be on the safe side (I've decided to fly)]

Bundon Airport is 225 kilometers from Hanoi Airport and over 3 hours drive.

On the other hand, a Vietnam Airliner, which left Incheon Airport at the same time as Asiana airplane, landed at Hanoi Airport without any restraint.

A Ministry of Homeland official said, "It seems that the airline has judged whether or not it has landed," he said. "It seems to be caused by the spread of corona."

Vietnamese authorities orally informed domestic airlines that they would land at nearby airports instead of major Vietnamese airports such as Ho Chi Minh City.

In fact, it is forbidden to land at the airport. Korean Air and Asiana will first send passengers to our pre-booked country by sending a blank flight to Vietnam.
