Pastor Kwang-hoon Jeon, president of the Korean Christian Federation, was detained last night for violating the Public Election Act. The pastor said he could not accept the decision, and he will hold a united worship service at Gwanghwamun Square this Sunday.

Pastor Kwang-hoon Jeon was arrested on charges of expressing support for a specific political party at the Gwanghwamun rally in April.

The warrant judge determined that the former pastor, who had no right to vote, was charged with pre-election campaigns to a large audience because of previous violations of the election law.

He issued a warrant saying that the case is serious and serious punishment is expected and that there is a fear of escape.

The pastor said he will make a decision after consulting with experts who will hold a large-scale section 1 rally due to the influence of Corona19.

The police plan to investigate the alleged pastor against 10 charges, including violations of election laws. He says he cannot accept the decision, and says he will apply for arrest.
