While the spread of Corona 19 was not fading, a rally hosted by Pastor Kwang-Hoon Jeon, Chairman of the Korean Christian Federation, was held at Gwanghwamun Square. Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon visited Gwanghwamun Square and repeatedly said, "Stop the assembly and return home."

On the afternoon of the 22nd, hundreds of rally participants gathered at the Gwanghwamun plaza in Jongno-gu, Seoul with Taegeukgi and Stars and Stripes in their hands. Most of the participants sat on the road in front of the big screen, wearing masks.

Seoul city mobilized trucks around the rally site, sending out a rally-prohibited broadcast, but didn't mind.

Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon, wearing a mask at the rally around 1:30 pm, asked for cooperation, saying, "Prohibiting the assembly at Gwanghwamun Square is an inevitable step to protect the lives and safety of the people."

Park went up to the 1-ton truck podium in front of King Sejong, grabbed the microphone, and said, "Stop the assembly and return home as soon as possible."

After the short speech, Mayor Park came down from the vehicle, and supporters and spectators scrambled together.
Shortly after Mayor Park left, Pastor Jeon Kwang-hoon, the general manager of Bumtobon, appeared at the Bumtobon meeting in Southeast Gwanghwamun Square. The pastor showed up near the podium at about 1:50 pm on that day and began to speak on the podium around 2:10 pm.

Earlier, the city of Seoul made a policy to ban the rally at Gwanghwamun Square, Seoul Plaza and Cheonggye Plaza to prevent the spread of Corona19.
