The Qatar Motor Academy was born out of the need to give promising children the opportunity to excel in mechanical sports, to take inspiration from the world racing experience that Lusail International Circuit has been for many years, the stage for their competitions in the MotoGP and Super Pike Motorcycle World Championships.

The academy, which started its work with the motorcycle program "The Road to the Moto GB", succeeded in discovering the most prominent talents from 19 countries, and provided them with a training, technical and educational environment for the future heroes making progress in sporting benefits regionally and globally.

The road to the Moto GB is a targeted and collaborative program between the Lusail Arena and the Aspire Academy for Sports Excellence and the role of “Al Dorna”, the exclusive rights to the Moto GP World Championship, and aims to give young people of talent between the ages of 8-16 years, tools And the capabilities necessary to learn the basics of motorbike racing, improve their skills, and provide a safe environment for practicing and developing their identities.

The Qatar Motor Academy has distinguished training facilities located inside the Lusail International Circuit so that the promising children can achieve the best results and experiences from the environment they are exposed to, in addition to that they provide special bikes for them and training rooms equipped with the latest sports equipment.

Academic contestants undergo unique training methods, which help them improve their abilities and skills while learning safe driving, and makes them fit physically and in a more athletic mental state through educational theories based on visual and theoretical graphics, as well as concepts of physical preparation and nutrition.

The academy includes in its second season 59 children representing 19 countries, 35% of whom are Qataris, while the rest is distributed among countries: Egypt, Spain, France, Britain, Italy, Sweden, Hungary, Malaysia, Greece, Germany, Kenya, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark , South Africa, Philippines, Australia, and India.

And joining the academy is not easy, as the child must undergo a series of tests to ride a bike through which his ability to learn and develop is determined, as well as the most important criterion in acceptance which is the child's ability to control his emotions during riding a bike and not exposing himself to danger or from Around it.

In the Road to Moto GB Academy program, children are divided into two groups according to their levels of cycling tests in order to give each contestant the opportunity to progress at a fair pace based on his skills, as they undergo training twice a week for two and a half hours at a time, provided that the distinguished contestants enjoy One additional day of training per week in the hope of continuing to develop their skills and demonstrate their abilities.

Children in the program also perform a set of technical exercises, reaction speed and agility on sports devices. The program also contains chapters in all the theoretical subjects they need to learn and improve skills, as well as physical training with different exercises on multiple devices, as well as providing a special bike for each Baby.

The program is implemented at the technical levels by a number of distinguished coaches under the supervision of Spanish champion Jose Luis Cardoso, the former world champion of the Moto GB, while the world-leading sports excellence academy "Aspire" oversees the physical and nutritional aspect of the program that contributes to raising the level of sports performance.
