Tesler graduated from Stanford University in 1965. In 1973 he joined the Xerox PARC Research Center. In this center, in particular, a graphical user interface and a computer mouse were invented. From 1980 to 1997 he worked at Apple. He later collaborated with several corporations, including Amazon and Yahoo !.
