According to the Daily Mail, Tesler invented a set of computer commands “cut”, “copy”, “paste”.
“Larry Tesler was a research fellow at Xerox and the inventor of cut / copy and paste and much more. Thanks to his revolutionary ideas, your working day is easier. Larry passed away on Monday, ”the Xerox company said on Twitter.
Tesler graduated from Stanford University in 1965. In 1973 he joined the Xerox PARC Research Center. In this center, in particular, a graphical user interface and a computer mouse were invented. From 1980 to 1997 he worked at Apple. He later collaborated with several corporations, including Amazon and Yahoo !.
