Indian astronauts in Russia are taught to survive in a landing

Indian astronauts, who are currently at the Cosmonaut Training Center, are practicing survival in a landing in a wooded area in winter. This was told to RT by the head of the CPC Pavel Vlasov.

“Now they are in preparation for survival in a touchdown in a wooded area in winter. This is certainly preceded by theoretical training, then practical, and then they will be able to survive for three days and two nights in two crews with our instructor, using the wearable emergency reserve, which is part of each descent vehicle, ”he said.

Vlasov said earlier that Indian astronauts are learning Russian and eating in the flight cafeteria.

On January 22, Minister of Atomic Energy and Space Jitendra Singh announced that Indian astronauts would study in Russia for 11 months.
