Antares Launch Vehicle Launches From Cosmodrome on Wallops Island

Liftoff! 🚀 @ northropgrumman's #Antares rocket launched from @NASA_Wallops in Virginia at 3:21 pm ET. Now heading to @Space_Station, the #Cygnus cargo vehicle will deliver thousands of pounds of @ISS_Research: https://t.co/5x0YqAx0T8pic.twitter.com/2kqqFP68Dj

It is noted that the cargo ship should deliver about 3.4 tons of cargo to the International Space Station.

It was previously reported that the launch of Cygnus to the ISS was postponed a second time.
